About TTYM Global

A social enterprise leveraging technology and affordable innovations to solve Sexual and Reproductive health issues in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Who We Are

A social enterprise leveraging technology and affordable innovations to solve Sexual and Reproductive health issues in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa. We bring antenatal care directly to women in underserved communities, especially those in marketplaces, bridging the gap between healthcare systems and the women who need them most.

Our model combines on-the-ground care with digital innovation. From emergency maternity kits to a user-friendly mobile app that tracks pregnancy and menstrual cycle, connects women to midwives, a safe space to freely discuss reproductive health needs, and supports high-risk case follow-ups, we empower women and girls to take charge of their health.

The Global Midwife

Sarah Nkansah Boateng, affectionately known as The Global Midwife, founded TTYM Global (Talk To Your Midwife) after witnessing a deep crisis in maternal and reproductive care. While serving as a midwife in public health facilities, she encountered pregnant women in marketplaces who consistently missed antenatal visits due to the long hours they spent working, often putting their lives and their babies at risk.

She also saw the struggles adolescent girls faced: lack of access to reproductive health education, menstrual hygiene support, and safe spaces to ask questions. These realities fueled her passion to build a solution that doesn't just wait for women and girls to find care but takes care to them. From one midwife's experience, a powerful movement was born, transforming lives through innovation, education, and compassion.

Our Belief

We believe women are the driving force of every economy, therefore they need to be well in order to do well.
